Hounds Hideaway

Think you’re the only one whose kids have four legs? Just wait til you meet the humans of the Hounds’ Hideaway! We’re Pet Parents just like you, who believe that our babies still deserve a dog-gone good time when we can’t be with them.

Hounds’ Hideaway offers overnight dog and cat boarding, dog daycare, full-service grooming, a unique “self-serve” dog wash, and onsite behavior training. And as if that weren’t enough, you can spoil Fluffy in our Pet Boutique or have her chauffeured to vet appointments with our Pet Taxi.

We can’t wait to show you how well we speak dog (and cat), and how much fun it is to be part of our pack!

Dogs are pack animals, but they’re also den animals, and it is important for them to have their own quiet place to retreat to during their vacation. That said, we believe that tired dogs are happy dogs, so pups are ONLY in their suites for mealtimes, the midday nap, and bedtime (as long as they meet the requirements for group play. If they don’t, they’ll still get 4 individual play sessions per day).

The Wampus Cattery has everything your feline friend needs to rule the universe while you’re away. Each kitty will have his own Cat Condo, complete with room service and multiple play periods throughout the day. Cats from the same family can always be together in suites with adjoining doors. During play times, your kitty can watch all the action in the Aquarium, leap tall towers in a single bound, or post up in our tall window for an afternoon nap. Of course, cuddling with our Pack Leaders is always an option as well.

Daycare dogs are assigned to playgroups based on size and play style. Indoor (4,000 square feet) and outdoor (26,000 square feet) play areas offer plenty of room to make new fur-friends, and human Pack Leaders provide constant supervision, safety, and love. Daycare hours are Monday to Friday 6:30am-6:30pm, and 8:00am-5:00pm on Saturday.

Help your fur-kid put his best paw forward! Our methods are tried and true and work well with all breeds and sizes of dogs. Our dogs are happy dogs that work out of loyalty and respect, not fear. We tailor the training style around each, individual dog to bring out the best possible outcome, and we teach pet parents everything they need to know to keep the paw-gress going at home!

Book a freestanding appointment, or add grooming services onto your pet’s boarding or daycare stays. Either way, we guarantee a finished Fluffy who feels fresh and fantastic (say that 5 times fast).

Grooming visits are scheduled by appointment, to ensure your pet gets our stylist’s undivided attention during the entire session.

ou do the washing yourself, and we provide our spectacular equipment and products. No more bending over the side of your bathtub while holding an 80-pound Lab with one hand and scrubbing through massive piles of ever-shedding fur with the other, only to have said hair fill up the tub drain after one wash. Leave the mess with us and enjoy your fabulously fresh Fido! Only one dog is allowed in the DIY wash room at a time, so your pup will be free from distraction while you work your magic. Retriever parents, rejoice!

Appointments aren’t required but we do recommend calling ahead. We take our last DIY one hour before closing, and there is a one-hour time limit per dog. The DIY wash is big enough to accommodate giant dogs and also includes a tub ramp so you don’t have to hoist your Great Dane over the side of it.
