Dog Town

Well our life is dedicated to dogs! Our dogs, our family's dogs and of course all the amazing dogs that come to Dog Town. I have always had pets in my life from the moment I was hatched, and I know I always will. I first started working with animals when I was 16 at the local vet, that was just a little to sad for me I wanted to work with dogs, just healthy ones. So then I moved on to the local shelter also sad but lots of fun and very rewarding, after a few years I moved to the city of Los Angeles where I really got into the business, I worked at and managed a pet shop, walked dogs and did pet sitting, then began to work for a great dog trainer who taught me much of what I know today about dog behavior. 

Where did all this lead me? Back home where I decided to start Dog Town and put all my knowledge to use. During the construction and fix up of the space I met my soon to be life and business partner Anthony, we joined forced and here we are today with our Brady Bunch of dogs my dad which none of this would be possible without and our wonderful business. Dog boarding with DogTown is like a vacation for your four-legged friend. We provide a safe, fun environment for group play, while also offering all dogs their own room for privacy, comfort and a little "me time." We offer four sizes of rooms for those who wish to have a bit more space during their stay. Each room is constructed from mahogany wood with a lookout window at the bottom of the door at dog height for our four legged guests to peek out of. Provided in each room is a Kanundra bed, blanket and water bowl.

With pet sitting, your dog may only get one or two visits per day, with us your dog will go out a minimum of 4 times a day. We know you're the best caregiver for your companion, but we like to be the best while you're away - because we love dogs.

DogTown offers amenities that simply are not available with most pet-sitting services. Instead of missing you, your pet will enjoy the opportunity to meet other dogs. All day play is available at a discounted rate for well-mannered, socialized dog boarding guests. Individual play is also available for companions that prefer more specialized attention.

Customize your DogTown boarding experience with a day at the spa and a new hairdo. Pet sitting meets the basic needs of your companion such as feeding and walking a few times a day, but at DogTown your dog's needs and wants are met and surpassed, day and night, by a staff of caring professionals. We offer 24 hour care for your pets so they are never alone while they are with us. We want nothing more than to make your dog's time away from home memorable. Don't be surprised if your companion can't wait to come back for another vacation!

Every DogTown guest receives individual attention, exercise, snuggling and play in our 3,000 sq. ft play area complete with indoor and outdoor space.

We separate dogs by size and temperament, and everybody gets time, attention and plenty of space to run and play. Little dogs and shy dogs are no exception, our daycare groups are separated by size so everyone gets to enjoy their time with us. Dogs can romp on playground equipment and play with other guests out in the sun or on DogTown cots when they get tuckered out. Come cool down by taking a dip in our pool and on days it is too hot to be outside, enjoy our climate controlled area, we keep the indoor area warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The grass-like turf outside is soft and cool on their paws and our indoor area has light, fun music provided to keep our guests content throughout the day.

DogTown spa has a variety of unique services that your dog will love. Need a dog bath or a haircut? What about a new hairdo, or a relaxing day at the spa? Whatever your pet’s needs, our spa offers a little bit of everything. Our experienced, caring groomer Heather has 20+ years of grooming experience and will make you pet’s visit both safe and enjoyable.

Choose from grooming options such as a bath or a haircut; included in every treatment is a PAW-dicure, brush-out and an ear cleaning. For our friends who have sensitive skin, we offer a hypoallergenic shampoo that is perfume free to avoid extra skin irritation. Got an itch? We have moisturizing shampoos that contain Jojoba and Argan oil for dogs with dry, itchy, flaky coats. Jojoba and Argan oil lock in moisture to create a lustrous, soft, tangle-free coat. All of our guests are sent home sporting a bandana to help them show off their new do.

Our spa partners always have your dog’s well-being in mind. That’s why we cater each grooming appointment to fit your needs. Unlike other places, we create individualized appointments instead of asking you to leave your loved ones with us for the entire day. Have an active member of the family? Before their bath, talk to one of our staff members about setting up playtime in our day care for your pup to tire them out before being pampered.
