When Nikki got a dog walking gig as a college student in Boston, she found herself really looking forward to spending time with all the different personalities in her route. She recruited Sue to join her on her one day off from work. Together we realized that we loved animals and that "working" with them didn't feel like work at all.
In 2003 we planted our roots in Union County and opened Faux Paws Pet Care. Taking care of our clients' four legged family members while they were at work or away on vacation became our full-time business. Caring for every pet as if he or she were our own got us thinking about taking our love one step further… Opening a one stop wholesome pet shop for all our clients.
