We are Desert Dog Pet Store! We are a family-owned and operated business in Ridgecrest, California, that specializes in YOUR pet’s happiness with quality-made pet supplies and natural food options. We opened our doors in 2012, focusing on the luxury of a self-serve dog wash with a spa-like vibe for our customers that wanted to pamper their pups with some one-on-one bathtime. Over time, we listened to our customers and grew our business to carry quality Cat and Dog supplies, in addition to natural-options to help our town feed their furry companions safe and healthy food.

During the holidays in 2016, the opportunity to physically expand our store arose, and we took the chance to begin carrying Reptile, Fish, Small Animal and Bird supplies – as well as grow our Feline and Canine departments for even more fun and tasty options! We work hard daily to ensure our customers have plenty of quality and natural options for ALL of their pet-companions!

Our self-serve dog wash is open daily (last dog wash is one-hour before closing). For only $10 you can give your dog some one-on-one quality time using our supplies, just leave the mess to us!

We promote adoption through our friends at the Ridgecrest Animal Shelter and foster-based Socks and Paws Animal Rescue.
