Brothers Greg Keane and Tyson Keane opened their first Chow Hound store in 1989. Their vision was to carry only the best in pet products and supplies, and to also provide pet owners with good advice and guidance. “We wanted Chow Hound to appeal to people who regarded their pets as part of the family.” Fast-forward 27 years to today and now Chow Hound Pet Supplies has 9 locations. They are West Michigan’s largest family owned pet specialty store chain. With this growth has come many new products and advances in pet food and supplies. However, the philosophy that started back in 1989 is still intact: Helping people and their pets with quality products, product knowledge and superior service is what we strive for every day at Chow Hound Pet Supplies.

Our self serve dog washes have become a customer favorite. Now it’s easy and even fun to get your pooch cleaned up. We supply everything you need. A raised wash tub to save your back, premium natural shampoo & conditioner, towels, high speed professional blow dryers. Best of all, we take care of the mess you used to leave in your bathroom!
All Chow Hound locations feature super convenient Dog Wash rooms available from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily. No reservation needed. Just bring in your dirty dog!
