For thirteen years, UrbanDog has been an industry leader in Toronto’s dog care scene. Providing premium hospitality and a family atmosphere, we have welcomed over 6000 two and four-legged friends into our Distillery District location. Offering an energizing playcare facility, a full salon & spa as well as an extensive retail space, the original location on Parliament Street created the mold for the business and brand to come. From celebrating birthdays to hosting live web cams so you’re continually connected to pup, the service standard was set.

In 2015, UrbanDog was thrilled to add the Park9 Resort to our roster, located minutes from Pearson Airport’s Terminal One. The expansion allowed us to host overnight boarding for both dogs and cats at an expansive new location. as the brand evolution continued, we were delighted to announce a new playcare facility on King West in Toronto during summer 2016; Park9 Liberty Village!

Another change that our company experienced in 2016 was the renaming of our business. While we know it takes a village, we wanted to ensure that all of our clients knew that the same team and leadership that has been in place since day one were the ones overseeing the care of your dogs throughout the three locations.

It brings us immense pride to oversee three industry-leading facilities, growing our Park9 community throughout Toronto. As we continue to expand, we will keep you in the loop about exciting announcements, new services and all our news.

At all of our Park9 locations we host enriching and fun playcare, seven days a week. For our industry, we have extended hours. We’re open later and on weekends to provide you with greater coverage.

There are plenty of four-legged companions as well as constant two-legged interaction and supervision. You can expect high quality, safe and educational play equipment and toys. 

We separate our guests into different playgroups we determine are most suited to them, based on size, temperament and playstyle.  We have a Play Nice Policy so you can feel comfortable that your dog is hanging out with the right crowd of friends.

Each of our facilities has large indoor playgrounds full of natural light so that every dog has the space to play and run around, or just curl up for a nap away from the fun. There’s also an outdoor playground that offers splash pools for water play. If you ever need to check up, our webcams host a live link!

You can expect they’ll be sent home tired and relaxed; with what we affectionately call the #Park9Hangover!

All of our locations have grooming facilities, while a full Salon & Spa can be found at Park9 Distillery District. Our team of expert groomers are on hand to attend to immediate needs such as nail trims or an urgent bath as well as the more luxurious experiences of blueberry facials (for fur brightening), haircuts and blowouts.

Our grooming appointments are very popular; please call ahead to book your appointment though we will do everything we can to get your best friend onto the schedule for some pooch pampering.
