Critter’s N’ Things opened it’s doors in 1987 when pet nutrition was limited to a single aisle in the grocery store. At that time we felt that pets deserved more and 25 years later this is still our driving force. We take pet nutrition very seriously. Every pet deserves the best that we can give them. With a large variety of foods and supplies we feel that we can offer you the best for your pet. Our well trained staff can answer any questions that you have regarding your pets health or well being.

We teach kindergarten obedience to show new dog owners how to get their puppies started in life and as a part of your family. Our puppy class is designed to help you introduce your puppy to basic obedience commands, such as Sit, Down, Come and Stay. We discuss any problems you are having such as crate training, housebreaking, chewing, biting, and jumping up on people. This class meets once a week for four weeks.

The class fee is $149.99. Limit of two people working with the puppy.

At Four Paws we pride ourselves in making our animal clients our #1 priority. All dogs are taken out to use the bathroom on a special leash to ensure their safety. They are provided with water throughout the day, but we do not feed them due to the possibility of making their stomachs upset.

For our older and more nervous dogs we offer an after hours, one on one service for an additional fee where the owner can stay with their pet. A familiar voice and scratch behind the ear can calm and relax your animal. Feel free to bring your animals favourite toy or treat to help them get through this very necessary part of their lives, being groomed.

Asking for the same pet stylist each time your pet is being groomed makes a big difference to your animals experience here at Four Paws. As you get to know your pet stylist and build a relationship with one another, you will feel much more comfortable leaving your furry little friend in our care.

No body wants that mess or smell after giving your dog a bath at home. Water everywhere, no easy way to dry your dog off and kneeling down on the floor is not the most comfortable thing. So why not drop on in to Critter’s N’ Things and make the mess here? No clean up for you, no bending down on your knees, and a professional dryer, to finish the job.

There are no appointments for the Doggie-U-Wash, it is based on First Come, First Served. There is to be only one dog in the U-Wash at a time, no matter the amount of people. This is for the safety of your dog and other customers and staff.

We keep cats & kittens on site to make it easy for the people in our Community to come see and to visit these cute pets who are in a need of a new home.
