The Pet Spaw and Lounge’s mission is to provide excellent animal care in a pet friendly atmosphere while ensuring our customers, both pet and owner receive the highest quality care in a clean and safe environment. As an independently Canadian owned and operated business, we will provide your cherished pet with a clean, warm and loving environment.

Our staff is very caring and attentive towards each pet’s welfare from the beginning to the end of their grooming experience. Each and every pet is pampurred from nose to tail in our small yet personable salon. An essential part of providing grooming services is building a personal relationship with clients as well as their four legged family members therefore, our mission is to provide personalized services that never make you feel like just a number.

A little bit about our Grooming Protocol…

Our pets are admitted in between 8:00am and 11:00am and start going home anywhere from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. We are open until 6:00pm for pick-up convenience as well. We try our best to accommodate specific pick up times at a first come first serve basis once dropped off in the morning.

The reason why we like it to be done this way is that we are able to keep up with grooming demands as well as providing  quality grooms. In this manner we are able to do more dogs in a day with the small staff numbers that we currently have. We appreciate our client’s patience as we grow our business and are able to welcome more team members.

It may seem that your pets are here for fair bit of time but it does take time to provide a quality groom. From the moment your pets are dropped off for their appointment, they are prepared to be bathed. This entails cutting their nails, trimming their pads, providing a sanitary shave, cleaning the ears and, at times, taking the coat down in size. They are then bathed and anal glands expressed. Next step would be a full rinse and drying with an air force dryer. Once most of the water has been expelled from the coat, they are placed in a kennel with air flow to completely get dry. Once all the dogs, which have come in the morning, are ready for the bath, our groomers are able to commence finishing the dogs that have been dried. Once the full grooming is complete they are ready to go home!
