Whispering Pines Pet Resort offers dog and cat boarding, dog and cat full service grooming, doggie daycare, obedience training while boarding, private lessons, behavior issues and conformation training. We also offer many pet foods, treats and toys.

Dog Boarding
Whispering Pines Pet Resort offers a wide variety of suites to fit every dog's individual needs. We offer private accommodations and family suites. We provide water buckets, food dishes, beds and blankets to all dogs during their stay. All dogs at Whispering Pines Pet Resort have private indoor and outdoor runs. Our facility is climate controlled so your dogs will always be comfortable in Colorado's unpredictable weather. Your dog will receive loving, individual care from our knowledgeable staff. We pride ourselves on taking the time to really get to know your pet and what he or she needs in order to be happy and healthy during her stay. Every dog has an information tag that allows our staff to personalize and cater to all your dog's needs.
Cat Boarding
Our feline guests spend leisurely days relaxing in their own quiet and private cat condo. Your kitty will enjoy our three level floor to ceiling kitty condo, complete with their own personal food, water and littler box. We have beds and toys available or you are welcome to bring your cat's favorite things from home.
Cats enjoy a quiet, cozy, spacious and separate cattery from the dog boarding area. All of our cats enjoy a floor to ceiling, three-level kitty condo, complete with food and water dishes, a litter box, toys, and blankets. Our guest cats receive lots of daily attention, admiration, and maid service.
Your dog will enjoy a day of play! Daycare is a wonderful place for socialization, and fun for your dog while you are busy at work.
Our daycare hours are 7:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Daycare is $18 a day, and your dog's 13th day of daycare is free. Two dogs in the same family are $32.00 and if their stay is 5 hours or less the cost is $10.00 per dog.
Lunches are available for dogs that stay a full day or you can bring your own food. If they eat with us, there is a $2 lunch charge per day.
We are open 7 days a week, but have limited drop-off times on weekends and holidays (last drop off time is an hour before closing on weekends and holidays).
Our daycare is 100% supervised by a trained pet care handler. We pride ourselves on our clean, safe and friendly facility and your pets are our #1 priority.
We make daycare a fun and interactive place for your dog. Our play yards are filled with 4-6 dogs, stimulating dog toys, and puppy pools (weather permitting) making it a fun place for your dog to play.
We carefully select your dog's playmates based on temperament, size and play style. Our staff will get to know your dog to determine which appropriate play yard they will go in. We even offer one on one playtime and snuggle time too!
Whispering Pines Pet Resort offers a wide variety of dog training for your brand new puppy or your show dog.
Our knowledgeable and experienced trainers work with you and your dog to bring out the best in you both. In our separate heated training building, complete with mats and wall mirrors, allows your dog to learn and improve in a positive, safe environment. Our show conformation trainers at Whispering Pines Pet Resort have competed and shown dogs in many dog shows, including the Westminster Kennel Club show in New York and the Eukanuba Dog Show. Classes are held Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm and it is only $6.00 for drop-in guests. Please call for our Summer and Holiday class schedules.
Whispering Pines Pet Resort offers a wide array of grooming services. It is our goal to make your dog or cat look, feel and smell their best whether they come for the day to "stay, play and have a spa day”, or a boarding pet receiving a "Bye-Bye Bath". Our pet grooming services include baths, trimming, shave downs, nail trimming, skunk baths, de-matting, flea and tick treatments, hot oil treatments, de-shed treatments, furminator, and Oatmeal shampoos for the "itchy" one.
We use Nature's Specialties Shampoo lines............they are the best!
All dogs and cats receive the gentle and experienced touch from our expert groomers. All dogs start out with a warm bath, followed by a towel dry and then a warm gentle blow dry. Whispering Pines Pet Resort has the luxury of inside and outside drying areas. Our grooming dogs are able to enjoy an outside drying yard or the choice of an indoor/outdoor suite while waiting for their owner to pick them up. Your pet will look and feel marvelous by the time they go home.
Grooming is always available before pickup. If you pickup after 2 pm there is a $16 day charge.
Many of our customers like to bring their dog for a half day care day and then to hit the spa. All dogs who receive "Spa Services" must be current on Rabies, DHLP (Distemper/Parvo combo) and Canine Bordetella.
