Hector's Hay & Feed

Hector's Hay and Feed was established in 2006 with the goal of providing quality hay and livestock feed to the White Mountains. This goal has not changed though we have have grown to include a full line of pet products. These include an array of quality dog and cat foods, pet supplements, leaches, collars fit for any budget! Our staff is knowledgeable in a wide variety of areas that involve the care of both livestock and household pets. They are courteous and will do their best to answer any questions you may have.

Along with expanding our pet food line, we have also added services geared toward your four legged family member. This includes a full service grooming facility with an experienced and caring groomer, overnight boarding for dogs and cats, a doggy daycare, and dog training with a certified trainer. The welfare of your Dogs and Cats are our priority when boarding with us. Our facilities are spacious and climate controlled. Our cat kennels  feature "privacy" nook with built in platforms so your kitty can play or sleep however he or she wants to. For our canine guests, we have secure play yard where they can sniff about, play with our staff and "do their business". Coming soon, we will also have our own doggy track where your pooch can take daily walks for a minimal extra fee. During the night your pets are monitored by state of the art, night vision cameras that can be accessed via WiFi by our staff.  

Kate Candler not only manages Hector's, she is also a certified dog trainer with over a decade of experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. She is also certified as a therapy evaluator through with Therapy Pets Unlimited and an evaluator for the AKC's Canine Good Citizen program. Starting in the spring we will be offering Basic Obedience and CGC prep and certification classes. There will also be a puppy social class that has no commitment and will focus on basic socialization and training skills to give your puppy a solid foundation.  If you have any questions feel free to call Hector's or Kate directly at 928-229-0077.   

We offer a full range of grooming and bathing services. We use only natural shampoos and conditioners that are gentle and effective on your pet. Along with grooming and bathing, we also offer services such as anal gland expression, nail trimming and dental cleaning.

Terri Franklin has been grooming with us since 2014 and has over twenty years experience in the field. She treats all her four legged clients with compassion and gives them the attention and care they deserve. She is also willing to work with you in order to give your pooch or your feline companion a style fit for their personality and yours!
