2018 starts our 22nd year as the first daycare in western New York and of setting standards in business! A Pawsitive Experience helped set voluntary national safety standards in the dog care industry. Make your choices carefully and with eyes wide open. Questions about standards to look for? Feel free to call and ask before you take your dog for pet care services. No regulations exist in New York - any one can open their doors which does not always equate to qualified. Stop by our store and see why we set the standard today!

Kenneling without the kennel. Your pet is welcomed and treated equally to mine: romps, errand running, hugs, sleeping inside, etc. Existing clients are given priority when boarding. New clients are eligible for consideration as space allows. However, screening will be done to ensure your canine will be able to interact appropriately in a home setting. References may be required. Space is limited to ensure quality care -- make your reservations early.

Dog Daycare is an organized, controlled and monitored environment in which a group of friendly dogs, from multiple families, can interact and play throughout the day in an enclosed building or yard. This is a situation foreign to most dogs - strange dogs allowed to play together with constant variations of dogs, weather, and individuals.

You'll learn to identify off-leash behavior, proper and improper play, fear behaviors and how to communicate so both pet and owner are happy. In other words, we will give you and your dog FILTERING & COPING SKILLS for what life throws your way behavior issues are addressed before they become habituated inappropriate behaviors. Pawsitive only does one level of classes which you are welcome to repeat. Each one is different depending on the owners, breed and ages. A seminar I attended at Guelph presented a study showing that more than 60% of all dog owners never go beyond puppy class and end up seeking behavior help. I decided to try and meet that need as a mobile trainer to ease the burden of travel to and from for the client. Everyone has different goals when they obtain their dog. Different classes and methods work for different owners and their dogs. Feel free to call and discuss, or refer to the reviews below and in the links above. A list of individuals to speak to directly is also available. If you are interested in obedience competition or perfect sit-stays on leash, I'd be happy to refer you to some good trainers in the area who can take you to several levels of training for competition or just for your own enjoyment.
