At our Downtown Milwaukee “Unkennel,” we make you and your pup feel as comfortable as possible during the time that you are away from each other. For your pup, sleepovers at The Bark are slumber parties with all of their friends in familiar surroundings. As your dog’s home away from home, we know your dogs and they know us, which reduces the stress, separation anxieties and other concerns associated with traditional dog kennel and dog boarding settings.

Rest assured that your dog will get plenty of play time each day. Doggy Day Care is included in our sleepovers, giving your dog the familiar routine they need while you’re away. Then, after a full day of play (see our Downtown Milwaukee Doggy Day Care Schedule of Activities), your dog spends the night in an appropriately sized crate for comfort and safety. And you get the peace of mind knowing that your dog is getting all the special attention they need from our expert staff at Downtown Milwaukee’s premier doggy day care.

Dogs love to hang out at Central Bark. Our Unkennel™ breaks the mold of a traditional dog kennel to give your dog a better day, every day. Unlike traditional kennels – or cleverly named canine camps, doggy country clubs, dog lodges, or dog spas – we give your dog the stimulation, interaction, play time, nap time and TLC they need to keep them happy and healthy. Each Central Bark staff is specially trained with our unique Central Bark® Doggy Day Care Certification Program in animal behavior, socialization, obedience training, canine first aid and CPR. A behavioral assessment is performed prior to your dog being placed with any other dogs, to ensure the safety of your pet, other dogs and our staff.
