JM Pet Resort is a state-of-the-art pet-care facility located on Boston’s South Shore. We are a full-service premium resort offering a variety of services and accommodations for your pets including hotel-style boarding, spa grooming, PLAYtrain® Doggie Daycare, and motivational obedience training. Our resort is also home to a premium retail store offering top of the line natural, holistic and frozen pet foods, nutritional supplements, treats, and other pet-care items. We support the care, health and wellness, nutritional, and hospitality needs for all dog breeds and temperaments with custom solutions and expert advice, exceptional products, and all-inclusive pet care. Our resort offers convenient hours and is open 7 days a week, Monday-Saturday from 6:00AM – 9:00PM, and Sunday from 9:00AM – 7:30PM.

JM Pet Resort serves communities throughout the South Shore, including Brockton, Easton, Mansfield, Stoughton, Taunton, Raynham, Attleboro, Hull, Bridgewater, Randolph, and Weymouth.

While you’re on vacation, be sure to treat your dog to a fun and exciting one as well! Our Resort is the perfect home away from home where your pet is treated like family in a comfortable, safe environment. Ensuring a clean and secure boarding experience for your four-legged friend is our top priority. Our Client Liaisons perform morning, afternoon and evening check-ins to make sure each pup is feeling happy and healthy during their entire stay. If any concerns arise, our Client Liaisons are the first to call the pet parent to address all issues and provide appropriate recommendations. Our boarding dogs also have the luxury of being able to take part in our PLAYtrain® Daycare program with supervised indoor and outdoor playtime at no extra cost. We have to admit, the boarding experience provided for your pup is pretty PAW-some!

PLAYtrain® Daycare was developed and created by Jeni Mather, founder and owner of J.M. Pet Resort. This unique behavioral model was designed to properly stimulate a dog’s brain while promoting positive behavior, re-directing negative behavior and creating an overall healthy and well balanced pup. After all, dogs were born to be part of a pack and so we teach, practice and “PLAYtrain®” them how to be.
In this flagship program, dogs graduate from group to group as behavior modification techniques are customized and successfully applied. They are integrated into specifically designed playgroups allowing them to exercise, build confidence and release energy. Appropriate manners and behaviors are instructed into all play and our experienced trainers work on enhancing socialization skills while developing healthy play habits.

The minute you walk through our doors, you may see our trainers appropriately handling your pup and working with them on obedience skills such as sit, stay, leash training, and much more. We truly LOVE your dog(s) and want to assist them on becoming the best versions of themselves by utilizing our structured program. At the end of each day, you can rest assure that your pup will arrive home happy, relaxed and tired!

We believe in a motivational-based training program for you and your beloved pet. Our philosophy is that you as an owner can be a trusted “pack leader” in a manner that teaches, supports and motivates your dog without using fear or intimidation. Learning how to properly use your voice and body movements, while also building confidence is an integral part of our training program.

It is your dog’s natural instinct to want to please you. We believe in changing a dog’s behavior by taking teachable moments and creating success while rewarding positive behavior. This is created through three phases that include teaching, practicing and testing, which leads to a confident dog who believes in him/herself. By combining our expertise in dog training, along with providing compassion and support, you and your pup will be sure to develop a lifelong harmonious and joyful relationship. We offer an array of training courses to choose from, customized to fit the needs of you and your FUR-iend!

Proper grooming plays a key role in maintaining your pet’s overall health and well-being. At our Resort, we offer a full service pet salon using only high quality products for all different type of dogs’ coats. We understand the anxiety you and your pet may feel before or during their grooming experience, so we work to create PAWS-itive associations and desensitizations to ensure an overall happy experience! With a slow introduction and treats being used as positive reinforcements, your pet will be sure to feel comfortable and stress free.

Unlike other grooming facilities, we take the time to provide full body examinations to evaluate each dog or cat for any potential lumps, bumps or abnormalities. Because we understand the importance of a proper diet, our grooming professionals can also provide appropriate nutritional recommendations to help with your fur-babies smooth and shiny coat.

Our clean, modern facility offers a variety of veterinary services designed to ensure all medical, preventative and wellness care needs are met for your pets, all at affordable prices.
