About Us+
Purrs n Barks Pet Market is a family owned and operated business focusing on healthy products for your pets, especially treats (Urban Dog Barkery). We are former owners of a healthy pet food store. After selling the store, we decided we still wanted to be a part of making pets healthy as well as supporting animal rescue.
This all started with our first rescue dog, Lady.
Lady was rescued off the side of a major freeway and was pretty beat up. Even though she was found like this, she turned out to be the absolute best dog ever.
Lady went on to become a therapy dog for ten years. She lived to be almost fifteen years old thanks to her diet of healthy food and treats.
All of our products are taste tested by our current dogs, Buffy and Millie, Ali & Robbie (all former fosters) as well as any new foster faces that come through our door. We DO test on animals! But that's a good thing.

Dog Wash+
We have 2 self serve dog washes and we also offer pet nail trims twice a month. Watch our Facebook page for all updated events.

Bakery+
Fresh made, yummy treats for your fur pups! No corn or soy and they smell so good, you may just want to eat one with them. We don't recommend this of course. Chances are your pup will enjoy them much more than you would, but you could.

We offer home delivery during this time at no charge but since we are short staffed we prefer you do curbside pickup or come in the store. Call us at 346-314-8603 (call or text).

We only stock foods we believe in and we try to support small local businesses on other products. We start with local, then we search in Texas and then we branch out to the US. We carry most of the lines of Fromm so we are sure to have the ones you need. If we don't have it, we can certainly get it for you, with a smile!
