Precious Pets is a locally owned pet care company that has been serving pets in the Sioux Falls area for over twenty years. We have offered pet grooming services for both dogs and cats for all twenty years, premier cat and dog boarding services for twelve years, and doggie daycare and animal behavioral training for the past eight years. Your precious pets are our valued clients, and we want them to enjoy their experiences with us.

Our pet boarding facility is located on 11 acres of land in a beautiful setting in the country, just minutes away from Sioux Falls between Harrisburg and Canton. We built our pet care facility in the country so we are not restricted by codes on how long the dogs can be outside. When it’s nice, the dogs enjoy many hours outside the dog boarding area in our beautiful country setting. And when the weather is not good or the dogs simply don’t want to be outside, they can be inside in air-conditioned comfort in the summer, or they can enjoy the underground radiant heat in the floors in the winter. There are windows so the dogs can look outside, and if the weather is really bad, we ‘rotate’ the dogs outside several times a day, so they are not exposed to the elements or bad conditions.

​Keep your dog from being bored at home by bringing them to our doggie daycare! Keeping busy and stimulated during the day can help alleviate boredom, which is typically what leads to behavior issues. Drop your dog off at our doggie daycare in Sioux Falls, and he/she will learn good socialization and proper interaction with other dogs. If a dog has issues "getting along", our dog behaviorist can help by working with him/her to overcome those issues. Your precious pet will be a tired, but happy pup after a day full of fun, exercise and friends at doggie daycare.

Precious Pets in Sioux Falls has now expanded our training program into Kota's Center for Canine behavior as our new dog behavior branch. Led by Tom Gunlicks and his staff located also at our new facility, Kota's Center for Canine Behavior will "Unleash the best friend you'll ever have."

Sioux Falls groomers come and go at many grooming shops, but with over 45 years of combined pet grooming experience, all at Precious Pets, our pet groomers are up to date with the latest styles and techniques. Our staff is extremely professional in handling and working with dogs and cats.
